Manitoba uses political vision and community leadership to help families raise healthier children. Since 1999, the Healthy Child Committee of Cabinet, with eight ministers around the table, has been meeting regularly to put children and families first. The committee develops and coordinates child-centred public policies and strategies across eight areas of government.
